Liv Tyler, 30, and her husband (Arckid rocker) Royston Langdon, 36, have split after 5 years of marriage. Sad!

Of course, Liv's rep offered the obligatory statement (to US Magazine): "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation.... They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."

The reasons for the divorce haven't been released, but a source for US Magazine, apparently overheard Liv talking to her lawyer on the phone...: "In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a 'leach' on her assets, and she said she got married too young."

Sad.... Especially for someone who once told US, "I don't believe in divorce."

All I can say is I hope the next man she hooks up with is taller than her.... Too ouch?
